We Met a Real Fireman!

We have been learning about different community helpers this week.  Today Firefighter Paul O'Meara from the Burlington Fire Station came to visit our class. We got to see all the clothes and equipment he wears as part of his job and we got to ask him a lot of questions. We enjoyed listening to him tell all about how he helps our community. He encouraged students to learn their addresses in case they ever need to call 911 and to talk with their parents about a fire safety plan and where a safe meeting place outside would be if there ever is a fire at home.
